Omics Course In Bangkok, Thailand

The Infectious Disease ‘Omics course took place at Chulabhorn Royal Academy in Bangkok, Thailand from September 8th-11th, 2026, attracting around 20 participants. This annual course has been successfully run in previous years and was ran last year in Thailand at the same academy, proving its popularity and continuing to build on its strong reputation for providing practical, hands-on training in the bioinformatic, statistical, and genetic epidemiological analysis of infectious disease data. Participants gained essential skills in genome assembly, variant detection, transcriptomics, phylogenetic analysis, and more, using real-world examples to explore complex host-pathogen interactions and antimicrobial resistance within a systems biology framework.
